NAIROBI, Kenya- Kenya’s Airtel has teamed up with Moja Expressway Company, the Chinese firm managing the 27.1 km Nairobi Expressway, to simplify toll fee payments for motorists.
This partnership introduces Airtel Money as a new payment option, promising users a smoother journey through the expressway’s exits.

Airtel Money joins the list of toll payment methods on the Nairobi Expressway, a game-changer for Kenya’s transport network.
The road, built by China Road and Bridge Corporation and managed by Moja Expressway, handles over 70,000 vehicles daily.
Motorists can now settle toll fees directly through Airtel Money at expressway exits, reducing wait times and offering a hassle-free alternative to traditional methods.
Beyond convenience, the partnership marks an important milestone for Airtel Money, enabling it to expand its service portfolio and appeal to Kenya’s rapidly growing mobile money user base.
