The Wai Ndai Challenge kicked off on November 16, 2024, and will run until February 15, 2025, inviting Safaricom customers to compete in skill-based games.
Signing up is as easy as visiting the Challenges Arena website, dialing *555#, or using the MySafaricom app.
At just KES 10 per day, participants gain access to a lineup of puzzle, arcade, and action games designed to test skills and thrill players.
Daily prizes include cash vouchers worth Sh.6,000, distributed among the top three scorers, while the best player at the end of each month drives off in a Suzuki Alto.
A public leaderboard keeps the competition transparent, with points awarded based on game performance.
“This challenge embodies our mission to keep our youth customers entertained while providing them with exciting opportunities to win amazing rewards,” said Fawzia Ali, Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer.
The challenge was unveiled during Safaricom’s first-ever Hook Circle bootcamp at Nakuru Athletics Club.
This youth-focused event brought together mentors and industry experts in music, art, fashion, dance, and gaming, offering attendees a chance to network and showcase their talents.
To keep the momentum going, Safaricom will activate the Wai Ndai Challenge in universities, colleges, and hotspots across Kenya, ensuring more youth can join in the fun.
These activations are part of Safaricom’s broader Sambaza Furaha campaign, celebrating 24 years of connecting Kenyans.
The Wai Ndai Challenge is more than just gaming is part of a larger series of initiatives aimed at giving back to the community.
