The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially unveiled a new trophy for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024, just days before the tournament’s highly anticipated kick-off across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The trophy, introduced under the tournament’s new “PAMOJA” identity — Swahili for “together” — symbolizes unity, shared passion, and the growing prominence of African football.
It was revealed in a specially produced video featuring East African football legends Victor Wanyama (Kenya), Denis Onyango (Uganda), and Mrisho Ngasa (Tanzania).
Their participation underscored the spirit of regional cooperation and marked a proud moment for the three host nations co-organizing CHAN for the first time in history.

Crafted with a sleek blend of silver and gold, the reimagined CHAN trophy is not just a new piece of silverware — it’s a visual narrative of the continent’s football journey.
