“Manipulation”: Sammie Kioko Says Sh19M Machakos Deal Reduced to Sh20K Pay

Trending

Content creator and media personality Sammie Kioko has publicly raised fresh allegations in an ongoing financial dispute with the Machakos County Government, claiming that out of an agreed Sh19 million, he has only received Sh20,000 via M-Pesa from the county’s Chief Finance Officer.

In a statement shared online, Kioko accused the county of manipulation and intimidation over the stalled payment, escalating a matter that has already attracted public attention.

Kioko described the situation as frustrating and demeaning, saying the payment delay has gone beyond a contractual disagreement and into what he believes is deliberate pressure.

“Out of Sh19m, the only money that we have received is Sh20,000 through M-Pesa from the Chief Finance Officer of Machakos County. This is the highest level of manipulation and intimidation that we have ever received from Machakos County,” he wrote.

He further claimed that the gesture was dismissive regarding the partial payment, which he also shared publicly.

The dispute is part of a longer-running standoff between Kioko and the Machakos county, centered on payment for services or work reportedly rendered under a contractual arrangement.

Kioko’s latest remarks indicate growing frustration over what he describes as delayed or withheld funds, despite what he maintains was a multi-million-shilling agreement.

The allegations have sparked renewed debate on social media, with users divided over the claims. Some have expressed concern over how contractual disputes involving county governments and creatives are handled, while others have called for official clarification from Machakos County to address the matter publicly.

As of now, Machakos County Government has not released an updated statement addressing Kioko’s latest allegations.
