Lifestyle influencer and entrepreneur Milly Chebby has expressed overwhelming excitement after her friends and husband stepped in to fulfil her birthday wishlist, turning her celebration into a memorable affair.
Ahead of her 39th birthday, Milly shared a detailed list of gifts she hoped to receive, sparking discussions across social media about the trend of public wishlists among influencers in Kenya.
The items on her list were valued at approximately Sh 1.4–1.8 million, including luxury perfumes, tech gadgets, and an international trip.
Among the items were a DJI Osmo camera (Sh 75,000), Hollyland portable sound equipment (Sh 55,000), iPhone 17 Pro Max in orange (Sh 280,000), luxury perfumes such as Valentino, Jimmy Choo, and Coco Chanel, and an international trip estimated between Sh 800,000 and 1.2 million.
Her husband, Terence Creative, also pledged to gift her an Apple Watch, rounding off the extravagant wishlist.
When her friends began fulfilling the list, Milly took to Instagram to express her gratitude and to address online critics who questioned the public nature of her wish list.
She wrote: “Good Morning World… haters and bloggers, mtaficha sura wapi? My friends showed up and showed out. Yes ..My friends are rich. Thank you for making my wish list possible.”
“I’m honestly so grateful. This shows me the importance of genuine friendships and the love we can give each other, especially during important moments in life.”
The birthday celebration itself was reportedly an intimate affair with close friends, eschewing a large, flashy party in favour of experiences and gifts that reflected her personality and preferences.
