Kenyan digital creator and influencer Sheryl Gabriella has captured hearts online after sharing a video showing the progress of a house she is building for her mother — a gesture of gratitude, love, and quiet triumph.
The fast-rising content creator, known for her humorous reels and soft-spoken confidence, shared clips on her Instagram this week showing the nearly complete structure.
The video, which has since gone viral, is both emotional and inspiring, marking a full-circle moment in her journey from humble beginnings to internet stardom.
In the clip, Sheryl films the house’s grey concrete walls, a roof taking shape, and a worksite buzzing with activity. She pairs the visuals with a heartfelt caption:
“There is power in manifesting!”

Just three years ago, Sheryl shared a very different video. In that earlier clip, she showed her mother’s old house — a smaller house that she revealed, leaked during rainy seasons.
Now, in 2025, the transformation is undeniable. The new house stands on the same plot of land, on the exact spot where the old one once sat. It’s a physical manifestation of a dream realized — and a metaphor for the kind of progress she often speaks about online: slow, deliberate, but certain.
“One day I’ll build my mum a really big house,” she said in an older post from 2023.
The content creator, who has built her brand on positivity and storytelling, says her decision to share the project publicly wasn’t about showing off but rather to motivate others who are still in their “beginning stages.”
Her followers flooded the comments with messages of congratulations and pride. Many praised her humility and determination, while others related deeply to her motivation. “You’ve inspired me to do the same for my parents,” one fan wrote. “This is what success looks like — not in cars or trips, but in giving back.”
According to her posts, the home project began as a dream sketched out in 2022. Over the following months, she began saving, seeking partnerships for materials, and rallying support from fans and brands who believed in her story.
By late 2024, walls had gone up, the roofing began, and now — as of October 2025 — the finishing touches are underway. “It’s not about how long it takes,” she wrote, “but about not giving up on your promise.”
