Tanzanian socialite and actress Frida Kajala has revealed that Bongo Flava artist Harmonize once helped her pay her daughter’s school fees at a time when he was still early in his music career and not yet established.
The disclosure was made in a recent interview and has renewed public interest in their past relationship.
Kajala said she approached Harmonize during a difficult financial period when she was unable to pay fees for her daughter, Paula, who was in Form Two at the time.
According to her account, Harmonize gave her the money directly after she explained her situation, even though he was still an emerging artist and relatively unknown in the music industry.

“I have known Harmonize for such a long time. He has once paid school fees for Paula when she was in Form Two. I had nothing,” Kajala said, describing the incident.
“He went to the bank and gave me money on the roadside.”
The revelation comes amid renewed conversation about their past romance and recent social media attention after a video surfaced of the two appearing together at a club, three years after their high-profile breakup.
Some fans reacted with excitement at the footage, while others remained skeptical about the nature of their relationship.
Frida Kajala and Harmonize’s relationship has been subject to public scrutiny for years.
The pair first emerged in the public eye in early 2021 when they confirmed a brief romantic involvement.
