Gospel singer Guardian Angel left host Alex Mwakideu visibly stunned during a recent interview when he disclosed that his monthly bills never fall below Sh 1.5 million, and in some months, even exceed Sh 2 million.
During the interview, Guardian Angel didn’t shy away from the numbers: “My bills every month are constant and not less than Sh 1.5 million,” he stated.
That comment visibly caught Mwakideu off-guard, prompting a follow-up: “Aaah, wait a bit! One month?” the host exclaimed.
Guardian Angel calmly clarified exactly what that sum covers:“I have my studio and an office in Karen. Those are just bills. I have not touched on my lifestyle. There are people I have employed. There are three farm hands. One person is handling goats, another manning the property and the third for farming.”
Guardian Angel’s Sh 1.5 million monthly spend covers multiple operational fronts: Real estate costs for his studio and office in Karen,farm hands and his other employees at the studio.
When the host questioned how he sustains such steep monthly expenses, Guardian Angel responded with confidence:“Kuingia nazo zinaingia mpaka unashangaa” — meaning roughly, “The income comes in to the point that you are shocked.”
Since the interview,he’s also come out to shush the naysayers who don’t believe that he spends such an amount monthly. This comes after the interview went viral on various digital platforms.
Taking to his instagram stories, he wrote, “hata wakristo ukiwaambia Mungu amekubariki hawaamini.
Kichini chini wansema ni Mumama.” He continued, “according to them,what Mumama can do God can not do.” This, coupled with a number of tear-faced laughing emojis.
