NAIROBI, Kenya – Nairobi’s hospitality scene has received a stylish green boost with the grand unveiling of three new experiences at ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands: The Green Room, The Roof, and a reimagined Kilele Nyama.

The launch marks a bold step in sustainable design, eco-friendly innovation, and Nairobi’s evolving food and lifestyle landscape.

Built on the hotel’s ethos of creativity, vibrancy, and smarter living, the new spaces reflect ibis Styles’ ongoing commitment to sustainability.

The Green Room, Nairobi’s first 100% solar-powered social and event space, offers a sleek venue for private gatherings, cocktails, and creative experiences — all while reducing the hotel’s carbon footprint.

“This project represents our commitment to a greener future,” said Thomas Simonnet, General Manager of ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands. “We are proud to lead the way in sustainable hospitality while offering guests fresh, stylish, and memorable dining and social experiences.”

The Roof adds a vibrant rooftop hub to Nairobi’s social scene, featuring panoramic city views, curated cocktails, lively entertainment, and bold décor infused with the playful ibis Styles spirit.

Meanwhile, Kilele Nyama, the hotel’s signature flame-grilled eatery, has been refreshed to deliver a modern, stylish nyama experience.

The updated menu combines iconic grills, tapas, and bold flavours, complemented by cocktails from The Roof, celebrating culture, community, and creativity.

The launch event brought together industry leaders, partners, media, and stakeholders, highlighting ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands’ vision of blending design, sustainability, and memorable guest experiences.

The initiative aligns with global trends in responsible tourism, positioning the hotel as a benchmark for future-forward hospitality in Kenya.
