NAIROBI, Kenya – Bonfire Adventures co-founder Simon Kabu has broken his silence following explosive claims by his estranged wife, Sarah Kabu, regarding the paternity of their firstborn daughter.
In a defiant statement shared on social media, Simon reaffirmed his commitment to his three children, calling them a blessing and vowing to remain present in their lives despite the ongoing personal drama.
“Children are a blessing from God. As a father, I have an obligation to mentor, love and make my children succeed,” Simon wrote. “No amount of jealousy, hate, defamation or lies will stop me from doing it. If I would leave a place … I would heal and move on! This is to my only three children—I love you so, so much. You are my bloodline.”
The statement appeared to be a direct response to viral social media content in which Sarah, in a now-deleted video, questioned the paternity of one of their children.
The clip sparked heated online debate and drew the couple back into the spotlight.
Sarah and Simon, co-owners of one of Kenya’s most successful travel firms, filed for divorce in July 2024 after years of a high-profile marriage marked by public spats and reconciliations.

Despite their split, the two have insisted that Bonfire Adventures remains unaffected and will continue operating under joint leadership.
Amid the turbulence, the couple was recently spotted together in Tanzania on June 30, 2025.
The brief video, which quickly made rounds on social media, reignited speculation about a possible reconciliation, though neither party has addressed the nature of the trip.
