MANCHESTER, U.K. – Manchester United have confirmed a 32-man squad for their pre-season tour of the United States, with several big-name exclusions and a few surprise inclusions as the club prepares for friendlies against West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton.

Defender Harry Maguire will not be flying out with the team due to a personal matter, although the club remains hopeful he will join up with the squad later during the tour.

The 32-year-old featured briefly in United’s 0-0 draw with Leeds on Saturday but was withdrawn in the 74th minute.

Among the most notable omissions are Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia, all of whom are reportedly eyeing exits from Old Trafford.

Marcus Rashford is also absent from the list, with the forward said to be finalizing a move to Barcelona.

The travelling squad includes several new signings and young talents. Forward Bryan Mbeumo, fresh from his switch to United, is included, as is Matheus Cunha, despite recently welcoming his second child.

Centre-back Lisandro Martinez is part of the tour but will not feature in the matches as he continues his recovery.
