FoLEA Launches Elite Training for County Enforcement Officers

Date:

LONDIANI, Kenya — The Forestry Law Enforcement Academy (FoLEA) in Londiani on Wednesday officially launched a specialized paramilitary training program for county enforcement officers from Nyamira and Nyeri counties, marking a significant step toward strengthening local enforcement capacity and professional standards.

Deputy Commandant Wilson Leboo highlighted the importance of discipline, leadership, and professionalism as core pillars for effective law enforcement.

He emphasized that the training aims to produce officers equipped with integrity, operational readiness, and strong leadership skills.

Officials from Nyamira County, including Dr. Mercy Moraa Motanya and Madam Shem Onchiri, joined Kenya Forest Service (KFS) leaders to demonstrate county-level support for enhancing the skills and accountability of enforcement personnel.

The program is designed to enhance compliance and governance across counties, preparing officers to manage complex enforcement tasks while upholding high ethical standards.

FoLEA Londiani continues to set the benchmark as Kenya’s premier institution for paramilitary and enforcement training.
