NAIROBI, Kenya- Embakasi East MP and Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Babu Owino has reassured Kenyans of his improving health, saying he is on the path to recovery after recently undergoing a medical procedure.
In a heartfelt statement issued during the Christmas season, Babu said he had been deeply moved by the overwhelming concern, prayers and messages of goodwill he received from Kenyans across the country.

The Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant expressed deep appreciation for the solidarity shown to him, saying every prayer and message had meant more than words could express.
As he continues to recuperate, Babu extended his thoughts and prayers to Kenyans who spent the Christmas season in hospital, away from their loved ones.
“As I heal, my heart is especially with all Kenyans who have spent this Christmas season in hospital beds,” he said. “I pray that God grants you healing, renewed strength and comfort, and that your families are filled with hope during this challenging time.”
He emphasised the need for unity, compassion and collective responsibility, stressing that no Kenyan should ever feel isolated during moments of illness or suffering.
“No Kenyan should ever feel alone in suffering, and no family should be driven to despair because of illness. We must continue to stand together, bound by faith, compassion and our shared humanity,” he added.
Babu anchored his message in faith, quoting Jeremiah 30:17: “I will give you back your health and heal your wounds, says the Lord.”
