PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – A Kenyan police officer serving under the Kenyan-led Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS) in Haiti has been reported missing.
The National Police Service (NPS) disclosed that the officer went missing on March 25, 2025, during a routine operation in the Carrefour Paye-Savien area along the main supply route in the Artibonite Department.
The incident occurred after an ambush on the convoy, underscoring the ongoing risks faced by security personnel deployed to stabilize the region.
