Malava MP Moses Malulu Injendi Dies While Undergoing Treatment

NAIROBI, Kenya – The country is mourning the death of Malava MP Moses Malulu Injendi, who passed away on Monday while receiving treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

The Clerk of the National Assembly confirmed his death but had yet to issue an official statement by press time.

Malulu, who had represented Malava Constituency since 2013, was serving his third consecutive term in Parliament.

He was also the Vice Chair of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research.

Known for his unwavering dedication to his constituents, Malulu had built a reputation as a committed and passionate leader.

His passing has drawn an outpouring of condolences from across the political spectrum.

Fellow lawmakers, leaders, and his constituents have paid tribute to his legacy.

Saboti MP Caleb Amisi mourned his colleague in a brief statement, saying, “Mhesh has rested. Go well, Malulu. My condolences to the family and his constituents.”

ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale described him as “a cool man,” while National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah hailed Malulu’s commitment to public service.

“It is with heartfelt sympathy that we mourn a colleague and friend, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi. His dedication to serving Malava and his unwavering commitment to uplifting his constituents were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside him in Parliament,” Ichung’wah said.

He added that Malulu’s passion and integrity would be remembered, and he extended his condolences to the MP’s family, friends, and the Malava community.
