Modern Furniture Pacific Assures Customers of Continued Operations After Ruiru Fire

Date:

RUIRU, Kenya – Modern Furniture Pacific’s workshop Ruiru branch was severely damaged by a fire early Wednesday morning, but the company has reassured customers that the showroom remains unaffected and fully operational.

In a statement released Wednesday, Modern Furniture Pacific confirmed that the incident, though disruptive, would not impact ongoing or future orders.

“We encourage all customers to continue placing their orders. Rest assured that all orders will be delivered on time as promised,” the company stated.

Local authorities and the Kiambu County Government have launched investigations into the cause of the fire.

The company praised the fire brigade and county officials for their quick response, which prevented the flames from spreading to the showroom.

While no injuries were reported, Modern Furniture Pacific revealed that some individuals exploited the chaos to steal sensitive items, including laptops.

“We urge those responsible to return these items immediately. Failure to do so will result in further action,” the company warned.

To reassure employees, the company emphasized that operations at its Nakuru and Nyeri branches continue as usual and that no jobs are at risk.

“We also assure our over 300 employees that their jobs remain secure,” the statement added.

Modern Furniture Pacific concluded by thanking customers for their trust and support during this challenging period and vowed to restore full operations at the Ruiru branch as soon as possible.
