Kamene Goro has opened up about her recovery journey following a recent hospitalisation, sharing a deeply personal reflection on how her life has changed.

In a candid post, the media personality described the physical and emotional toll of her condition, highlighting the everyday activities she now struggles with.

“I miss being able to stand up normally. I miss being able to sit down without thought,” she wrote.

Kamene revealed that basic tasks she once took for granted have become difficult. She spoke about missing simple movements and routines, including sitting comfortably and moving freely.

“I miss being able to sit on the floor. I miss going to the toilet normally. I miss taking a shower normally,” she shared.

She also noted challenges with mobility, writing, “I miss being able to walk without supervision.”

Beyond mobility, Kamene addressed the physical changes she has experienced, including discomfort and limitations that affect even her expressions.

“I even miss the softness my body has lost,” she said, adding, “I miss being able to laugh, now it hurts.”

Despite maintaining a public-facing smile, she acknowledged that her outward appearance does not always reflect how she feels internally.

“I miss my smile because now it’s there so everyone believes I’m okay. Some days I’m not,” she wrote.

Kamene’s post also touched on the emotional impact of her experience, including feelings of isolation and shifts in personal relationships.

“I miss some of the people who I thought were my friends and actually are not,” she stated, suggesting that her situation has reshaped her social circle.

She expressed missing connection and shared experiences, writing, “I miss catching vibes with people.”
