NAIROBI, Kenya — Instagram personality Lydia Wanjiru is letting in some information amid ongoing online comparisons between her and other influencers after revealing the results of her recent Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Taking to Instagram, she clarified why her surgical results may appear different from those of other public figures, including Pritty Vishy.

According to the influencer, the outcome of her procedure is largely influenced by her natural body structure prior to surgery.

“I’m coming from nothing compared to these other personalities like Pritty Vishy and Porsha,” Wanjiru said in a video.

“If my target was their exact body shape, I would be complicating things and possibly risking my life.”

Her remarks came shortly after she publicly unveiled her ‘new body’ online, which triggered mixed reactions across social media platforms.

While some fans praised her confidence and openness about cosmetic surgery, others criticized the results, leading to a wave of trolling and online commentary.

A Brazilian Butt Lift is a popular cosmetic surgery procedure used to cinch one’s waist and enhance volume and shape of the buttocks by removing fat from other parts of the body through liposuction.

The content creator spoke openly about her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery explaining that it stemmed from long-standing struggles with body image.

In an earlier interview, she revealed that she had consulted doctors about multiple procedures before finally deciding to proceed.

“I wanted liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a BBL. The doctors evaluated me and eventually gave me the go-ahead,” she said at the time.

Responding to critics who mocked the results of her surgery online, Wanjiru maintained a lighthearted tone.
