Digital content creator and influencer Sheryl Gabriella has revealed that she has been battling recurring ovarian cysts, a condition she says has caused her immense physical pain and emotional distress.
Sheryl shared her experience through a series of videos on her social media platforms, where she candidly spoke about repeated hospital visits, persistent symptoms, and the frustration of undergoing treatment without long-term relief.
Known for her lively and confident online persona, the influencer said the condition has forced her to confront a reality many women silently endure.
In one emotional video, Sheryl directly appealed to women who may have gone through a similar experience.
“I need help. Anyone who has ever dealt with an ovarian cyst, please help me, tell me the permanent solution to this thing,” she said.
She went on to explain that despite seeking medical care at multiple facilities, the problem has continued to resurface.
“I have been to different hospitals. They keep treating it, and it keeps coming back,” she added.

According to Sheryl, the physical pain associated with the cysts has been overwhelming at times, affecting her ability to function normally.
“I have been to different hospitals. They keep treating it, and it keeps coming back,” she added.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that form on or inside the ovaries and are relatively common among women of reproductive age.
While many cysts are harmless and resolve on their own, others can cause severe pain, complications, or require medical intervention — something Sheryl says she has had to confront repeatedly.
As her videos gained traction online, Sheryl received a wave of responses from followers, many offering advice and sharing personal experiences.
While she appreciated the support, some of the suggestions drew strong reactions from her, particularly claims that pregnancy could cure the condition.
Addressing the misconception directly, Sheryl shut down the advice firmly.
“These people who are suggesting that I should give birth to heal a cyst — hello, no, no,” she said, dismissing the notion as medically inaccurate.
Sheryl emphasized that ovarian cysts are a medical condition that requires proper diagnosis and professional care, not myths or assumptions.
Amid the flood of messages, Sheryl noted that many people recommended surgery as a possible solution.
While she did not confirm undergoing any procedure yet, she said she was taking the advice seriously and planned to consult a specialist.
“Most of you have suggested surgery as the best option. I’ll visit a gynaecologist and plan for it. Thanks,” she said.
While she continues to manage the condition, Sheryl assured her followers that she is under medical care and taking steps to prioritize her health.
She has also urged women experiencing persistent pain to trust their instincts and seek professional help.
