Musician Bien is seemimgly concerned over Nviiri the Storyteller’s welfare in the recent past.
This comes after a back and forth between the two of them that has been ongoing for a while.
Speaking to the Mic Cheque podcast, Bien Addressed the speculation that has been surrounding the two for a while.
The concern stems from their different sentiments on the National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse(NACADA) proposal to ban celebrities and influencers from advertising Alcohol.
Bien has been notably vocal with the proposal speaking against it and highlighting the roles that alcohol companies play in event planning and as a source of income for influencers.

On his part, Nviiri supported the NACADA proposal.
Part of his reasoning being he once endorsed an alcohol brand during an event in Kayole and only later came to realize that the people around their would prefer foodstuffs or jobs rather.
Also, during a purported fallout between Bien and Otile Brown, Nviiri dropped a song with Otile Brown that was implied as a wrong move by the fans.
Bien shared that he gets concerned about Nviiri because he helped build his career.
“I helped build the brand that is Nviiri so I can never be happy to see it fall apart. I get concerned with the moves he making,” he said.
Bien also went ahead to reiterate his sentiments on the role alcohol companies play in the industry.
“Nviiri’s career has been built on alcohol endorsements……people should be allowed to push responsible drinking.”
He also used the chance to ask his fans to check out his new music that is out. “He has new music , its out, look…… that back and forth is unnecessary.” he shared.
Nviiri is a singer- songwriter known for his soulful blend of afro-pop, R and B and acoustic sound.
He gained prominence under Sol Generation ,a label founded by Sauti Sol.
He’s been exploring independent releases since exiting sol generation and performing at more intimate venues and festivals.
He’s also recently shared about moving out of the city to a farm in Limuru and switching to a dumb phone for more intentional living.
