Joy and celebration are in the air for the Kiuna family. Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna, co-founder of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), has announced that her son, Jeremy Kiuna, is set to be married.

During a recent Sunday service, Pastor Kathy shared the joyful news with her congregation, unable to contain her excitement. Her declaration was met with applause and cheers from members of the church, many of whom have watched Jeremy grow up under the public eye.

“My son Jeremy is getting married!” she exclaimed, visibly emotional as she shared the update. “God has been faithful. He has brought us this far, and I’m so grateful.”

The announcement was captured on video and quickly made its way to social media, where it began trending among JCC followers and fans of the Kiuna family. Kathy, who often refers to her family’s journey as a testimony of God’s grace, hinted that the wedding preparations were already underway. However, she deliberately stopped short of revealing the bride’s identity, saying it was not yet time to introduce her publicly.

Jeremy Kiuna, the only son of Kathy and Bishop Allan Kiuna, has lived much of his life in the spotlight. The Kiunas, founders of JCC, are among Kenya’s most recognizable church leaders, with their ministry and family life frequently discussed in both religious and entertainment circles.

Jeremy, now in his early thirties, has maintained a relatively private lifestyle in recent years. He first introduced his girlfriend to the public in December 2024, when the Kiuna family shared festive Christmas photos. The images, posted on social media, showed Jeremy posing alongside a woman believed to be his partner, sparking widespread speculation among fans.

Pastor Kathy’s joy over the news was evident. In her remarks to the congregation, she described the upcoming wedding as a “testimony of God’s goodness,” especially considering the journey her son has walked.

Jeremy has previously been open about living with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects muscle coordination. Despite the challenges, he has often spoken about his faith, resilience, and the unwavering support of his parents. Over the years, both Kathy and her late husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna, celebrated Jeremy’s strength and character, calling him a source of inspiration.

Kathy reminded the church that Jeremy’s journey was a reflection of “God’s unrelenting grace.”

“When I look at my son, I see the faithfulness of God,” she told her congregation. “If there’s anyone who knows what God can do, it’s me. From the time he was born until now, we’ve seen miracle after miracle.”

The congregation responded with a standing ovation, celebrating alongside their pastor.

The Kiunas have long been considered one of Kenya’s most influential faith families. Together, Kathy and Allan Kiuna built Jubilee Christian Church into one of the largest and most vibrant ministries in the country.

Kathy, in her message, also took a moment to acknowledge her late husband’s legacy.

“If Bishop were here, he would be so proud,” she said. “He always prayed for this day — to see Jeremy start a family of his own.”

While the exact wedding date has not been made public, sources close to the family suggest that plans are already in motion and that the ceremony will be a private affair attended by close family and church friends.

The Kiunas are known for their elegant celebrations, so expectations are high that the event will be both tasteful and faith-centered.
