NAIROBI, Kenya— The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) will within seven days revoke the operating licenses of 13 courier service providers, citing regulatory non-compliance.
The Authority in a Gazette Notice No. 7801 dated June 13, 2025 stated that the affected companies failed to adhere to the provisions outlined in the Kenya Information and Communications Act (Cap. 411A).
“NOTICE is given pursuant to the provisions of the Kenya Information and Communications Act (Cap. 411A) that the Communications Authority of Kenya shall revoke the postal licenses of the following service providers within seven (7) days from the date of this Gazette Notice,” read the notice in part.
As a result, they are slated to lose their postal and courier licences if they do not rectify the outstanding issues within the stipulated period.
Among the courier firms facing revocation are both national and international operators.
National courier operators on the list are Crucible Investment Company Limited, Ultimate North, Cilantra Solutions, Classic Luxury Shuttle Limited, Diamond Parcel Limited, EMD Solutions Company Limited, Four M Africa Limited, Eve on the Move Limited, and Garvins Logistics.
CA has urged the public and stakeholders to take note of the notice and seek alternative service providers to avoid disruption.
This move CA says, is part of its ongoing efforts to streamline the postal and courier industry and enforce compliance standards.
