Epson and Bose Launch All-in-One Projector Series with Built-in Audio

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya— Printer maker Epson and Bose have announced a new partnership to produce a series of all-in-one projectors that merge projection and sound in a single device.

The first batch of the new audiovisual products will be released in September 2025 in the U.S. and China, with a wider international rollout expected thereafter.

The devices will combine Epson’s visual display technology with built-in audio components from Bose, eliminating the need for separate speaker systems in home and professional entertainment setups.

“At Bose, we are dedicated to delivering incredible audio experiences no matter where you’re listening. Working with Epson gives us the opportunity to combine breathtaking visuals with powerful sound to help people connect more deeply with their content and elevate home entertainment to the next level,” said Nick Smith, President, Audio Technology Business & Chief Strategy Officer at Bose.

The new line of projectors is being positioned for versatility, targeting both personal and professional environments, including home theaters, classrooms, and conference spaces.

“Through this partnership, we are combining our bright, vivid, and versatile projection technology with Bose’s custom-designed audio systems to realize the fusion of sound and visuals, setting a new standard for entertainment,” said Tomoo Takaso, Chief Operating Officer of Epson’s Visual Products Operations Division.

Epson says the devices are part of a broader strategy to simplify audiovisual setups without compromising quality.

In Africa, the company sees growing demand for compact and reliable entertainment tools, especially in urban markets with limited space for separate home theater components.

“This partnership with Bose exemplifies our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation. In East and West Africa, where multimedia consumption is growing rapidly.

We are excited about the potential of this all-in-one solution to transform both entertainment and professional settings with powerful visuals and immersive sound.” said Mukesh Bector, Regional Head – East & West Africa, Epson.

The companies plan to expand the lineup of Sound by Bose-enhanced projectors in the coming years.
