KBC Journalist Fredrick Parsayo Dies Under Unclear Circumstances

NAIROBI, Kenya – The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is grieving the sudden death of Fredrick Parsayo, a respected journalist and member of its editorial team.

Parsayo’s untimely demise was confirmed in a statement from the KBC management, which revealed that he passed away on Friday morning at his residence in Kinoo, Kikuyu.

The circumstances surrounding Parsayo’s death remain unclear, prompting authorities to launch an investigation.

According to KBC’s statement, the incident has already been reported to the Kinoo Police Station, and inquiries are ongoing to determine the cause.

Describing Parsayo as an integral part of the newsroom, KBC lauded his professionalism and dedication, emphasizing the profound loss felt by colleagues and everyone who had the opportunity to work with him.

“We extend our sincerest condolences to Fredrick’s family, friends, and everyone affected by his loss,” read the statement from KBC.

Parsayo’s body has been moved to St. Teresa Mortuary, and his family has been notified of the tragic incident.

Further details regarding funeral arrangements are yet to be disclosed.
