Network International, Odoo Join Forces to Boost SME Digital Growth in Africa

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya– Digital commerce enabler Network International has partnered with leading business management software provider Odoo to enhance online payment capabilities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across Africa.

The strategic collaboration will see Network International integrated as a payment service provider within the Odoo platform, enabling SMEs, particularly in East and South Africa to accept card and mobile money payments directly within their existing business management systems.

“This integration will ease the onboarding of thousands of our merchants across Africa and allow them to seamlessly accept payments as per their needs, including mobile money,” said Patrick Lukusa, Managing Director of Odoo in Kenya.

“It is a growth enabler to the benefit of our users.”

Network’s Regional Managing Director for Eastern Africa, Judy Waruiru, emphasized the broader impact the partnership will have on business operations.

“Through this collaboration, businesses will benefit from secure transactions, advanced fraud protection, and real-time dashboards that offer valuable insights into payment activity,” she said.

“These capabilities not only enhance operational efficiency but also empower businesses to make faster, data-driven decisions with confidence.”

The initiative comes amid growing demand across the continent for digital-first, secure, and adaptable payment solutions that meet diverse customer needs.

By combining Odoo’s robust business software with Network’s payment infrastructure, the partners aim to empower African entrepreneurs, simplify commerce, and drive the continent’s economic competitiveness on the global stage.

The partnership will also expand Network’s reach by leveraging Odoo’s large and growing customer base across Africa, opening up new opportunities in high-growth markets.
