Speaking publicly, Kanyari said his two children, Sky Victor and Danivictor, have been unfriendly since Bayo passed away. He described their attitude toward him as hostile amid ongoing discussions about custody.

“Since their mother passed away, they have been a little hostile. I am even wondering if it is something that they are being taught. I mean, they have been questioning me so much, but I understand.”

He said he has taken them out for meals and spent time with them, but noted that their interactions have not always been warm.

The custody discussion comes after Bayo’s death last month. At the time of her passing, her children were living with her husband, Hiram “Tash” Gitau, who had been caring for them. Kanyari has publicly expressed his intention to take custody of his children.
