Wilbroda Reveals Her Son Was Once Breastfed by Nanny in Shocking Parenting Confession

Actress and radio personality Jacquey Nyaminde, better known as Wilbroda, has revealed little-known details about her journey as a mother, during her appearance on the Mic Cheque Podcast. The former Papa Shirandula star shared parenting experiences that ranged from shocking to humorous.

One of the standout revelations was Wilbroda’s admission that her son was once breastfed by their nanny.

Speaking to hosts Chaxy, Mariah and Mwass, she explained that the discovery came as a shock. At the time, her work schedule in radio and television kept her away from home for long hours, leaving most childcare responsibilities to the house help.

“I later found out that the nanny was breastfeeding my baby,” she said. The disclosure stunned the hosts and has since become the most replayed moment from the episode. Wilbroda admitted she struggled to decide whether to be outraged or simply relieved that her child had been cared for.

Her reaction was a mix of disbelief and humor. She admitted that at first she didn’t know how to process it — whether to be angry or simply grateful that her child had been cared for. “It’s one of those things you don’t imagine happening until it does,” she said, adding that the situation made her rethink how much time she was spending away from home.

Wilbroda also addressed the difficulties of balancing her high-profile career with raising a child.

She acknowledged that being in the public eye does not shield parents from the guilt of missing milestones. “When I’m with my son, I try to be fully with him,” she said, noting that she deliberately puts away her phone and scripts to create genuine bonding moments.

She emphasized that motherhood forced her to reassess priorities and taught her to make decisions that placed her child’s well-being first, even when they conflicted with career opportunities.

Beyond challenges, Wilbroda reflected on the positive lessons her son has taught her. She described motherhood as a humbling experience that has expanded her patience and changed her perspective on life. “You realize your child is your greatest teacher,” she said.

She also acknowledged the importance of laughter and lightheartedness in parenting, qualities she has carried over from her career in comedy.

Her reflections were both relatable and inspiring, underscoring the universality of parenting struggles. Whether it was dealing with childcare surprises, adjusting to school routines, or setting boundaries as a single mother, Wilbroda painted a vivid picture of resilience and adaptability.

The Mic Cheque episode showcased a side of Wilbroda that many fans don’t often get to see. Away from scripted comedy and polished radio segments, she was refreshingly vulnerable, funny, and unafraid to admit that parenting is messy.
