How to Pay Parking Fees in Mombasa County

Mombasa County is the second largest city in Kenya and is known for its white sandy beaches and other sites like Fort Jesus.

The county government ensures that parking spaces are maximally utilized to improve traffic flow.

Mombasa is a thriving residential and commercial area which has many shared off-street parking bays.

The parking rates are mainly charged per hour and range from Sh. 100 to Sh. 300 depending on the parking location and vehicle type.

Mombasa County has a quick and secure way of paying parking fees to cater to the huge demand and encourage turnover.

Paying Parking Fee via USSD

  • Dial *282#
  • Press 1 to register using your name, set your PIN, and confirm
  • Enter 0 to go to the Main Menu and then select 1 ‘My Services’
  • Enter 1 to access Mombasa parking services
  • Go to ‘Pay for New’ if you are parking for the first time in the city
  • Select your vehicle category and see the displayed charges
  • Key in the vehicle registration number
  • Confirm the information and proceed to pay parking fees using Mpesa by choosing ‘Accept Payment’
  • An Mpesa payment instruction will pop up on your phone. Enter your PIN to pay for your parking ticket
  • You will receive a confirmation SMS from MSA County with payment and vehicle details.
