will.i.am Teams Up with LG to Redefine Audio Innovation with “xboom by will.i.am”

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya- Get ready to crank up the bass and immerse yourself in a whole new audio experience. LG Electronics has partnered with music icon and tech entrepreneur will.i.am to debut a fresh lineup of audio products under the brand “xboom by will.i.am.”

The collaboration aims to blend cutting-edge tech with creative flair, transforming LG’s xboom into a trend-forward, culture-centric audio powerhouse.

In his role as LG xboom’s “Experiential Architect,” will.i.am is injecting his artistic genius into every aspect of the brand.

Drawing from his extensive background in music and technology, the Grammy-winning artist is working alongside LG to revolutionize product design, development, and marketing.

The first fruits of this collaboration, the 2025 xboom product line, will make their grand debut at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.

“Collaborating with LG opens up an avenue to create experiences that resonate with a diverse community of music lovers,” will.i.am said.

By combining LG’s technical expertise with his innovative vision, the partnership promises a bold reimagining of what audio devices can deliver.

The new xboom products will include Bluetooth speakers and wireless earbuds, starting with the xboom Buds, designed to offer an ergonomic fit and an exceptional sound experience.

The hallmark of these devices? A sound profile co-created by will.i.am that balances rich bass with warm, harmonious tones. With two listening modes—one for vibrant beats and another for mellow vibes—the xboom lineup caters to every mood and moment.

The design ethos extends beyond sound. For instance, speakers feature intuitive straps and synchronized lighting effects, while earbuds are equipped with adjustable ear tips and hooks for prolonged comfort.

But the innovation doesn’t stop there. All xboom products will integrate with will.i.am’s proprietary platform, RAiDiO.FYI, an AI-driven infotainment service that personalizes the listening experience.

Imagine real-time interactions with your favorite content via topic-focused “STAiTiONS”—it’s a whole new way to connect with music, talk radio, and cultural trends.

Dongwon Lee, LG’s Managing Director for East Africa, emphasized the partnership’s significance: “This launch solidifies LG xboom’s evolution into a unified audio brand, driven by a shared passion for innovation with will.i.am.”

The collaboration underscores LG’s ambition to elevate xboom from a product line to a cultural movement.

The CES 2025 showcase, happening from January 6–10, will feature exclusive product reveals and tech demos, spotlighting this unique fusion of art, culture, and technology.

The “xboom by will.i.am” collection isn’t just about better sound—it’s about fostering a deeper connection to music and culture.

With cutting-edge features, innovative design, and a splash of artistic flair, this partnership is set to make waves in the audio world. Keep an eye out for the launch—it’s music to our ears in more ways than one.
