NAIROBI, Kenya – Glam Hotel has opened a new rooftop restaurant and bar in Westlands, adding to the city’s growing list of luxury dining and entertainment spots.
The 10th-floor venue, located along General Mathenge Road, was launched on Friday night in a lively event.
The grand opening was an unforgettable affair, drawing a stylish crowd of business leaders, top influencers, and hospitality enthusiasts.
The evening featured exceptional live music, electrifying DJ sets, and vibrant performances from drummers and dancers—a true celebration of Nairobi’s dynamic spirit.
“This rooftop is more than a venue — it’s an experience,” said Ashish Sharma, CEO of Thrive Hospitality, the group that owns Glam Hotel.
“We wanted a space that reflects Nairobi’s character — vibrant, diverse, and full of life.”
Guests enjoyed a range of continental dishes and cocktails as the city’s skyline provided a striking backdrop.
Organizers said the rooftop will host up to 200 guests for sundowners, private events, and casual dining.
Sanjay Shah, the hotel’s directors said the aim was to “create a space that blends good food with Nairobi’s social energy — where every evening feels like a celebration.”
The night ended with a toast overlooking the city, marking what the hotel hopes will become one of Westlands’ most popular rooftop spots.
