NAIROBI, Kenya – To enhance the tracking and implementation of government projects, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki concluded a development tracking forum in Embu County.
The forum, held with a host of elected leaders, economic sector representatives, and grassroots stakeholders, aimed to evaluate the progress of government programs across various sectors and ensure the delivery of pre-election promises.
It was the first of its kind and focused on revitalizing critical value chains and job creation.

Leaders took stock of the progress made in fulfilling government commitments, discussed hurdles encountered, and charted a roadmap for future actions.
Kindiki stressed that the views and inputs of all stakeholders were integral to the roadmap’s development, ensuring a collaborative approach to governance.
Key figures at the forum included Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, Deputy Governor Kinywa Mugo, PS for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Dr. Esther Muoria, and Senator Alexander Mundigi.
The National Assembly was represented by Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, along with MPs Eric Muchangi (Runyenjes), Njoki Njeru (Woman Representative, Embu), Geoffrey Ruku (Mbeere North), and Nerbert Muriuki (Mbeere South).
Embu County Assembly members, led by Speaker Josiah Thiriku, professionals, religious leaders, and other local influencers were also in attendance.
