KUCCPS Reopens Course Selection Portal for 2024 KCSE Candidates Ahead of Final Deadline

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya – The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened its online portal for the second and final revision of university and college course selections for 2025 placement.

Eligible 2024 KCSE candidates now have until June 7 to review and update their course choices through the KUCCPS system, which is accessible at students.kuccps.net.

“This is the last opportunity for KCSE 2024 candidates to revise their university, college, and programme choices,” KUCCPS said in a notice. “Log in to students.kuccps.net and apply.”

The second revision window is also open to students who either missed the first application period or were not successfully placed during the initial round, which closed on May 27.

To access the portal, applicants must use their KCSE index number, examination year, and password — typically their KCPE index number or birth certificate number.

Once logged in, candidates can browse available programmes across the 40 public universities, 29 private universities, and 263 public colleges listed on the platform.

These institutions offer varying levels of government scholarships and HELB loans, depending on the type of institution.

KUCCPS is urging all qualified candidates to take advantage of this opportunity to secure placement in their preferred courses and institutions before the June 7 deadline.
