Hollywood Meets Nairobi: ‘Ghost’ Brings Star Power to Kenya

NAIROBI, Kenya – The legendary Power star Omari Hardwick, famously known as “Ghost,” has touched down in Kenya ahead of the grand opening of HQ Kenya House, an exclusive private members’ club set to launch at Tatu City on Saturday, March 15.

Hardwick, who arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Friday, March 14, was welcomed with open arms—literally.

Flashing his signature smile, the actor and filmmaker shared his enthusiasm about blending business, culture, and entertainment during his visit.

“It feels great to be here! I’m looking forward to experiencing Kenya’s vibrant creative and business scene while using my platform to highlight what’s happening here,” Hardwick told reporters upon arrival.

And he’s not just here for a cameo. His presence signals a major moment for HQ Kenya House, a luxe social hub designed to connect Black professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs.

HQ Kenya House: A Game-Changer for Black Excellence

The club is an extension of HQ DC House, a prestigious members’ space in Washington, D.C., founded by The Burns Brothers.

Their vision? To create a bridge between Black Americans and Africa through curated luxury experiences, cultural connections, and business opportunities.

“Kenya is an incredible place to do business, and we are excited to introduce HQ House as a space that blends culture, community, and curated luxury experiences,” said John Burns, co-founder of HQ House.

Located in the thriving Tatu City, HQ Kenya House promises exclusive networking events, high-end amenities, and a space where innovation meets culture.

Kenya Airways Rolls Out the Red Carpet

Hardwick’s arrival wasn’t just another celebrity touchdown. Kenya Airways (KQ) made sure his first moments in Kenya were nothing short of legendary.

“A warm welcome to Kenya, Omari Hardwick! At KQ, every journey is more than just a flight; it’s about connection, experience, and the legendary Kenyan hospitality,” the airline shared in a statement.

KQ’s Head of Corporate Communications, Henry Okatch, and the Karibu Team personally received the actor at JKIA, ensuring he got a taste of Kenya’s renowned hospitality from the get-go.

With Hardwick in town and the buzz around HQ Kenya House at an all-time high, all eyes are on Saturday’s launch at Tatu City.

Expect an unforgettable mix of culture, business, and entertainment as Nairobi welcomes a new era of Black excellence.
