Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya– Pepsi Beverages Kenya has entered into a partnership with Skyward Airlines that will see its beverages served exclusively across the airline’s network.

Skyward operates an average of 547 flights a month, carrying more than 26,000 passengers across 11 routes, including Nairobi–Mombasa, Nairobi–Lamu, Nairobi–Eldoret, and Nairobi–Dar es Salaam.

According to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), domestic air passenger traffic reached 5.32 million in 2024, highlighting the potential in the aviation sector.

The deal will feature brands such as Pepsi, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, 7UP, Evervess, Sting, and Aquafina on all Skyward flights.

John K’Otieno, SBC’s Country Manager, said,“This deal puts Pepsi into 26,000 journeys every month. Whether it’s Pepsi, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Sting, or Aquafina, we’re meeting Kenyans in the moments that matter, when they travel, connect, and experience life on the move.”

“ Skyward Airlines and Pepsi share a vision of growth, innovation, and delivering premium experiences to customers, and this partnership ensures our world-renowned brands are enjoyed by families across Kenya and the region.”

On her part, Diana Nyambura, Skyward Airlines General Manager, added that the new partnership will ensure customers get sustained beverages with a large pool of products to choose from.

“This partnership enhances our in-flight service offering and reflects our dedication to providing added value to our passengers while also supporting our growth strategy in the regional aviation market.”
