Two Days Left! How to Secure Your KMTC Placement Before the Portal Closes

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya – If you’re eyeing a spot at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) but facing roadblocks in your application, you’re not alone.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is stepping in to assist—but you need to act fast.

With the February 14, 2025, deadline just two days away, KUCCPS has dispatched officers to 27 KMTC campuses across the country, ready to guide applicants through the process.

From Awendo to Transmara, if you’re struggling to submit your application, help is closer than you think.

Where to Get Assistance

Instead of battling technical glitches alone, KUCCPS encourages applicants to visit designated KMTC campuses for in-person support. These locations include:

  • Western & Rift Valley: Kakamega Navakholo, Kerio Valley, Lugari
  • Central & Eastern: Imenti, Kangema, Maua
  • Coastal & Northern: Lamu, Kwale, Tana River
  • Nyanza: Kuria, Ndhiwa, Nyamache

If you’re in Nairobi, KUCCPS officers are also available at their headquarters, as well as at various Huduma Centres nationwide. Still stuck? Reach them at 020 5137400 or via info@kuccps.ac.ke.

The Countdown is On

The KMTC application portal, which opened on January 25, is part of a revamped placement system allowing phased applications.

This year, eligibility spans a wide range—from KCSE candidates dating back to 2000 to those who sat for the 2024 exams.

In a recent statement, KUCCPS CEO Agnes Wahome emphasized that this new structure provides more flexibility, ensuring that students can explore multiple training opportunities in healthcare.

Final Push: Don’t Miss Out

If you’re still on the fence, now is the time to make your move. Whether you’re a fresh graduate or someone considering a career shift into the medical field, this is your last chance—applications close on February 14 at midnight.

Looking for a step-by-step guide? Check out the official KUCCPS portal for a list of available courses and application requirements. Don’t let a missed deadline stand between you and your dream career!
