NAIROBI, Kenya- In a display of technological prowess and innovation, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s inauguration ceremony on May 7 featured the debut of nine Aurus Merlon electric motorcycles.

These sleek motorcycles, part of the Aurus Senat armored limousine fleet, added a new level of sophistication to the presidential motorcade.

The Aurus Merlon electric motorbike, manufactured by Russia’s Aurus Motors, boasts impressive performance metrics.

 It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds, showcasing its agility and speed.

 With a top speed of 240 km/h, the Merlon promises a swift and efficient mode of transportation.

 One of the standout features of the Aurus Merlon is its 21 kWh battery, which enables it to travel up to 200 km on a full charge.

This range, coupled with its rapid acceleration, positions the Merlon as a formidable contender in the electric motorcycle market.

Moreover, the Aurus Merlon is designed to operate in harsh conditions, with the ability to withstand temperatures as low as -25ºC making it suitable for a variety of climates.

The debut of the Aurus Merlon electric motorbikes marks a significant milestone in Russia’s automotive sector and sets a new standard for sophistication and performance in presidential motorcades worldwide.
