NAIROBI, Kenya – The grueling Kenyan terrain met its match this weekend as 36-year-old Elfyn Evans and co-driver Scott Martin stormed to victory in the 2025 Safari Rally, securing another triumph for Toyota Gazoo Racing.
Evans, who sealed his first back-to-back win, extended Toyota’s championship lead to 36 points after three intense rounds of the World Rally Championship (WRC)
Crossing the finish line more than a minute ahead of his closest rival, Evans described the win as a testament to the team’s relentless effort.
“What an amazing weekend… incredible support throughout and amazing to see the finish line here. Thank you, everyone. It means a lot as a Toyota driver to continue that run of wins here at Safari. The team works really hard for this, and they deserve it,” he said.
His triumph wasn’t just another race win—it cemented Toyota’s dominance in the legendary Safari Rally, one of the toughest challenges on the WRC calendar.
