Silicon Valley: Dr. Shikoh Gitau Joins The Tech Interactive Board

NAIROBI, Kenya- The Tech Interactive, a renowned science and technology center in Silicon Valley, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Shikoh Gitau of Kenya to its Board of Directors. 

As the CEO of Qhala, a leading digital innovation company in Africa, Dr. Gitau “brings a wealth of experience and visionary leadership to the table.”

Expanding The Tech Challenge to Kenya

Dr. Gitau’s appointment coincides with The Tech Interactive’s second year of global expansion for its flagship program, The Tech Challenge, now extending its reach to Kenya. 

This move aligns seamlessly with Kenya’s national initiative to enhance STEM education in K-12 schools. 

Dr. Gitau’s deep connections within the African tech ecosystem will be crucial in forming strategic partnerships that facilitate this expansion.

The Tech Challenge aims to engage 10,000 youth, fostering interest in STEM careers, confidence in STEM disciplines, and enhanced collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Driving Innovation and STEM Education

Katrina Stevens, President and CEO of The Tech Interactive, expressed enthusiasm about Dr. Gitau’s appointment.
