Dr. Gitau’s appointment coincides with The Tech Interactive’s second year of global expansion for its flagship program, The Tech Challenge, now extending its reach to Kenya.
This move aligns seamlessly with Kenya’s national initiative to enhance STEM education in K-12 schools.
Dr. Gitau’s deep connections within the African tech ecosystem will be crucial in forming strategic partnerships that facilitate this expansion.
The Tech Challenge aims to engage 10,000 youth, fostering interest in STEM careers, confidence in STEM disciplines, and enhanced collaboration and problem-solving skills.
