Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya- Safaricom has announced a scheduled system maintenance that will take place on the night of Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 11pm to 4am on Monday.

Here’s everything you need to know about how this might impact you.

Affected Services

During this maintenance window, access to some of Safaricom’s most popular services will be intermittent.

This includes Lipa na M-PESA, Paybill, Buy Goods services, international money transfers via Western Union, M-PESA Global, as well as the M-PESA App and mySafaricom App.

If you rely on these services for your transactions, it’s a good idea to plan ahead and complete any urgent tasks before the maintenance period begins.

What’s Still Available

You’ll still be able to make calls, use data, send SMS, and access other M-PESA services without any interruptions.

This means that your basic communication needs will be met, and you can continue to stay connected even during the maintenance period.
