EiA-C Partners with Incomedia to Drive Digital Inclusion for African Entrepreneurs

Date:

ENRICH in Africa Center (EiA-C) has teamed up with Italian software company Incomedia to support African start-ups and small businesses in embracing digital transformation.

This collaboration aims to provide user-friendly, cost-effective website-building tools that empower entrepreneurs to create professional online platforms and access local and global markets.

At the heart of this partnership is Incomedia’s WebSite X5, a platform known for its simplicity and versatility.

The software allows users to build professional websites, blogs, and online shops—all without requiring any coding skills.

Currently, WebSite X5 is used by over 1.9 million users across 120 countries, and now, it’s set to make a mark in Africa.

Incomedia’s CEO, Federico Ranfagni, emphasized their mission to make technology more accessible: “Incomedia has always sought to make technology accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise. Through our partnership with ENRICH in Africa Center, we are thrilled to support African innovators in their journey towards digital transformation.”

The project targets at least 1,000 African entrepreneurs and SMEs within the first year, providing them with subsidized access to WebSite X5. This approach not only bridges the digital divide but also enhances brand positioning for expanded market reach.

The collaboration aligns with EiA-C’s mission to provide African businesses with the tools they need to succeed in today’s digital economy.

EiA-C Manager Zandile Ntuli noted, “At ENRICH in Africa Center, we are always focused on providing African entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to succeed. This partnership with Incomedia opens up new opportunities for African businesses to expand their digital footprint and reach global audiences.”

By offering cost-effective digital tools, the partnership seeks to support African innovators in scaling their businesses and tapping into new markets.

EiA-C, known for connecting and empowering incubators, researchers, accelerators, and entrepreneurs across Africa and Europe, continues to deliver on its mission of providing support services, funding access, and a collaborative network.

This partnership represents a step forward in fostering digital inclusion among African entrepreneurs.

By leveraging Incomedia’s user-friendly technology, EiA-C aims to make professional website creation both accessible and affordable, opening up a world of opportunities for African start-ups.

As the digital era continues to shape global commerce, initiatives like this play a pivotal role in ensuring that African entrepreneurs are not left behind.

By making technology more accessible and affordable, EiA-C and Incomedia are paving the way for African businesses to thrive in a digital-first world, fostering innovation and economic growth across the continent.
