NAIROBI, Kenya- Eastrise Group has appointed Moses Sitati as its new Country Director for Kenya.
The appointment marks a significant step in Eastrise’s mission to reshape how businesses in Africa and Europe work together for long-term, inclusive growth.
This leadership change comes as the global trade landscape undergoes a seismic shift—politically, economically, and structurally.
For Eastrise, now expanding its advisory footprint in East Africa, this is a strategic pivot.
“Legacy ties and familiar routes no longer guarantee progress,” says Gosia Brzezińska, CEO of Eastrise Group.
“To navigate what’s next, businesses need new alliances, fresh thinking, and bold models. Moses’s appointment strengthens our ability to deliver exactly that.”
A Leader Rooted in Innovation and Impact
Sitati brings nearly 20 years of experience in driving innovation, partnerships, and enterprise-led growth across institutions like USAID, Microsoft, Nokia, and the United Nations.
Most recently, he served as Partnerships Team Leader for Economic Growth at USAID Kenya and East Africa, where he helped unlock private capital for enterprise-led development in sectors ranging from agriculture and clean energy to digital infrastructure.
Now, he steps into a role where he will lead Eastrise’s strategy and operations across Kenya and the wider East African region, supporting businesses, institutions, and investors looking to scale impact and build resilient, cross-border collaborations.
“This is not about one-way investment flows,” Sitati explains.
“We are building a new corridor between Africa and Europe—starting with Central and Eastern Europe but with a global vision. It’s about helping businesses on both sides grow, partner, and lead in tomorrow’s economy.”
Building the Future of Advisory
Eastrise is positioning itself as more than just an advisory firm. It’s building what it calls a “future-facing investment platform”—a hybrid model blending research, strategy, and capital to help organizations grow through change.
The firm’s mission is clear: support businesses navigating complexity, unlock capital, and scale with purpose across regions.
Sitati’s appointment reflects that vision, and signals Eastrise’s readiness to serve as a bridge between two fast-changing markets: the vibrant innovation of Africa and the growing demand for collaboration in Europe.
“Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of enterprise, capital, and impact,” Sitati says. “Joining Eastrise is about scaling that intersection—and unlocking what’s next.”
