Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 following a battle with cancer, the company confirmed on Monday.

In a statement, OnlyFans said it was “deeply saddened” by his passing, adding that he died peacefully after a prolonged illness, with his family requesting privacy during this period.

Radvinsky died after a long battle with cancer, though details about his illness had largely remained private until the announcement.

The Ukrainian-American entrepreneur was known for maintaining a low public profile despite being one of the most influential figures in the global creator economy.

Radvinsky became the majority owner of OnlyFans in 2018 after acquiring its parent company, Fenix International.

Under his leadership, the platform transformed into a global powerhouse, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when demand for digital content surged.

OnlyFans grew into one of the most recognizable subscription-based platforms worldwide, allowing creators to monetize content directly through subscriptions, tips, and pay-per-view features.

By 2024, the platform had amassed hundreds of millions of users and millions of creators globally, cementing its place in the digital economy.

Despite his immense wealth, estimated in the billions, Radvinsky remained largely out of the spotlight, rarely granting interviews or making public appearances.

Born in Odesa, Ukraine, and raised in the United States, he built his career in the online adult entertainment and tech industries before acquiring OnlyFans.

His business ventures included founding webcam platform MyFreeCams and investing in various technology enterprises through his venture capital activities.

The platform became especially prominent for adult content creators but also expanded to include musicians, fitness trainers, and influencers.
