Gospel singer Karangu Muraya has revealed that he secretly recorded reconciliation talks with his estranged wife, Trizah Njeri, as tensions between the two continue to escalate in the public eye.
In a twist to the ongoing family drama, Karangu claimed he anticipated a fallout and wanted to “protect himself” after Trizah allegedly broke their agreement and reignited online tensions—this time targeting both Karangu and his second wife, Carol.
“I saw it coming. I knew it was a trap,” Karangu said, confirming he has the recordings of their private discussions.

The fallout appears to have been triggered after Carol reportedly visited Trizah’s firstborn son at school—something Trizah claims was strictly off-limits and against the boundaries set during the reconciliation talks.
Following the renewed drama, Trizah declared on social media that she is “single and minding her business,” adding that her priority now is her children and that she is ready to fight for them.

She has not directly responded to Karangu’s claims about the recordings, but the back-and-forth has captivated their online followers—many of whom are urging Karangu to release the audio evidence.
The once-private family matters between the couple have increasingly played out on social media, drawing strong opinions from fans, critics, and fellow gospel artists.
What started as a hopeful moment of reconciliation between the separated couple has now turned into a deepening rift, with Carol’s involvement appearing to further strain the situation.
