NAIROBI, Kenya – AAR Hospital has issued a statement clarifying details surrounding the recent passing of Betty Bayo, who had sought treatment at its facility earlier this month.
The hospital expressed deep condolences to the family, friends, and fans of the deceased, acknowledging the loss while urging the public to be cautious about circulating unverified information online.
In its statement, AAR Hospital management noted that while various claims have circulated on social media regarding the case, many of these reports are inaccurate and misleading.
The hospital confirmed that she was admitted for two days, receiving emergency and critical care while her diagnosis was confirmed.
AAR Hospital Condolences and Clarification Statement
Following initial stabilization and assessment, the patient and her family opted to transfer to another medical facility for specialized treatment.
There were reports that the Hospital refused to admit Betty Bayo in the ICU because she didn’t have Sh260,000 to pay upfront.
Out of respect for the patient’s confidentiality and medical ethics, AAR Hospital declined to provide personal or clinical details, emphasizing its commitment to high standards of patient care, professionalism, and transparency.
