Linked to Multiple Violent Crimes
Investigators say the suspects are part of a violent gang that has been terrorising residents across Uasin Gishu with armed robberies, carjackings, and other serious offences.
Records show the gang has been linked to a number of high‑profile incidents, including a violent home invasion on 22 November 2025, where a family was held hostage, their vehicle stolen, and money forced from their mobile wallets during the attack.
Further inquiries connected the group to a robbery with violence that resulted in the killing of pharmacist Richard Rotich at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital on 7 January 2026.
Police say the gang used fraudulently acquired identities to evade detection and continue their activities.
