Boosting Security in Remote Areas

Marsabit County, located in northern Kenya, is prone to stock theft and inter-community conflicts, particularly in remote areas.

The DCI’s visit forms part of a broader initiative by the National Police Service to enhance policing, enforce law and order, and support community cooperation across high-risk areas.

The ASTU officers at Gas were commended for their high level of preparedness and operational readiness, reflecting the importance of specialized units in mitigating criminal activities that disrupt livelihoods and regional stability.
