NAIROBI, Kenya- The Commander of the Kenya Army, Lieutenant General David Ketter, on Tuesday, December 23, visited service members and their dependants admitted at the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital as part of ongoing command and leadership engagement initiatives.
The visit, conducted under Lt Gen Ketter’s leadership philosophy of “A Soldier-Centric Approach to Enhance Mission Readiness,” focused on troop welfare, morale and the overall wellbeing of Kenya Army personnel.
During the visit, Lt Gen Ketter interacted with patients undergoing treatment, conveyed Christmas greetings, and wished them a full recovery and a productive New Year. He also assessed the general welfare of the patients and the quality of medical care being provided at the facility.
The Army Commander reaffirmed that the wellbeing of service members and their families remains a command priority and a key pillar of operational effectiveness.
