MURANG’A, Kenya — Police officers from Kenol Police Station have recovered a large cache of contraband goods, including illicit liquor and counterfeit tax stickers, hidden in a residential building in Kimorori, Murang’a South Sub-County.
The discovery came after a house agent reported unusual activity at a property rented by one Peter Waembu Waweru, who had failed to pay rent for two months and mysteriously disappeared.
Concerned about the locked house, the agent alerted the area sub-chief, who noticed suspicious activity inside, prompting a police investigation.
