Poor road infrastructure, including potholes, confusing signage, and insufficient lighting, further increases the risk of accidents, making pedestrian safety a growing concern across Nairobi and other urban centers.
The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) continues to urge drivers and public service vehicle operators to exercise caution and ensure vehicles are properly maintained, in a bid to reduce the high number of preventable road accidents nationwide.
