Uhuru Kenyatta, Kalonzo Musyoka Travel to Nigeria Hours To 2026

LAGOS, Nigeria – Former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, ahead of the Future Africa Leaders Awards ceremony, organisers have confirmed.

The event recognises and supports young Africans who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, particularly in education, youth empowerment, and mentorship across the continent.

Uhuru Kenyatta is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the ceremony and will also announce the winner of the Star Prize, the highest recognition awarded at the event.

The former president was accompanied by former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, who is also attending the awards ceremony.

The Future Africa Leaders Awards initiative aims to identify, celebrate, and support emerging African leaders whose contributions are shaping Africa’s future through service, innovation, and mentorship.
